For those of you who took your kid’s out trick or treating… How did your kid’s make out? Any good snacks in those bags?

My kids lasted a total of 10 minutes outside on our street and then came in wanting to hand out candy. I literally ate their candy bowl in 5 days! I felt so sick. It is me who ends up suffering.

Now we can look forward to preparing for the Winter Holidays

Yesterday, I did a taping for a Television show called “IN THE KNOW“ on ROGERS TV.
The show is a 30 minute show and I went on to talk about Entertain Kids On A Dime (my website and this Facebook group)!
I brought in my oldest child Brooklyn (who is 5) and we did crafts and talked about tips on saving for this holiday season.

I was thankful to meet Julia Suppa (the host of the show) who is an Entertain Kids On A Dime reader.

I was so nervous, because the taping is LIVE. No retakes! Brooklyn on the other hand was a natural. She was excited to tell the kids at school that she was on TV.

The episode will be airing in about 3 weeks and I will remind everyone who wants to tune in the time and channel!

2) The second letter petitions your representatives in the House of Commons and Parliament for legislative change.

Drawing inspiration from Carlos Amorales’ exhibition Black Cloud, in this FREE workshop for junior art enthusiasts, participants will learn the art of paper cutting as well as sculptural building techniques to construct large mobiles of swarming insects out of paper. Participants will be encouraged to collaborate by trading insects and displaying their mobiles together in a coordinated hanging installation. At the end of the workshop, kids will take their creations home.

This event is FREE and for children ages 8–12 and their younger siblings and adult companions. Caregivers are expected to join their children in all activities.
