The Regional Municipality of Durham marks its 40th anniversary this year! Residents are invited to join the celebration at a free, open house community event.

This family friendly event will feature a variety of activities, including: live musical performances; departmental displays; face painting, a magician and other activities for children; special guests, such as the new Chief of Police and local celebrities; and a free barbecue (while supplies last), along with cake and refreshments. A “recruitment booth” will also be set up during the open house to provide visitors with an overview of the career choices available at the Region.
