This weekend for me is bittersweet for me. I am excited to spend the long weekend with my kids, but I am very sad that the Summer has officially ended. I hope all of you enjoy this long weekend with your family and that your children enjoy their first day back to school.

Local singer-songwriter and recording artist Derek Christie + his band will be performing live under the night skies, in the Piazza Courtyard in front of the Richmond Hill Centre For The Performing Arts. Special musical guests: Greenway Blvd and Laurelle Augustyn. As well, very special guests will be our friends, the David Dunlap Observatory Defender Astro team who will have their telescopes on hand so you can star and planet gaze close up!
The show is free of charge – or pay what you can donation (it helps us cover the equipment rentals) – and all ages, so bring the family! Please bring a non-perishable food item for our local food bank.
