For the Spring edition of our books + breakfast series for young kids and their parents, we will be featuring two beautiful and poignant children’s books – Danielle Daniel’s Sometimes I Feel Like A Fox and Nadia L. Hohn and Irene Luxbacher’s Malaika’s Costume.

In conjunction with their informal readings and book presentations, all three authors and illustrators will lead interactive creative writing and drawing activities.

In addition, we will be launching our “Walk, Stop, and Wonder” photography project, in partnership with the WeeFestival of Theatre and Culture for Early Years. Families are invited to join us for a short photo walk from Artscape Youngplace to Trinity Bellwoods Park, where children (and their parents) are encouraged to take photos of what the children notice.
